Be a part of a cutting edge dance team. We have guest choreographers, international instructors, attend conventions, regional competitions, national competitions, & more!
These teams work on a wide variety of dance types:
ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, pom, acro, hip hop.

Elite Stars have traveling dance teams ages 3-18 years old. Travel to Omaha, Minneapolis, Des Moines, Fargo & more area large cities. They perform at local competitions & events also.

Mini Team- ages 6-8 years old
Youth Team- ages 9-11 years old

Star Spangled Dance Academy Dancers attended Talent on Parade National Dance Competition June 12-17th in Des Moines, IA.  The event was held at Vets Auditorium.  These were their results:

Four year old Payton Steffensen of Star Spangled Dance Academy also attended Symposium National Talent Competition in Rochester, MN June 21-24th. 

There she placed:

Nuttin' for Christmas- Payton Steffensen - Gold & 1st Place

Stupid Cupid- Payton Steffensen - Gold & 1st Place

1 of 3 Judges Choice Awards in the 12 & under

She also competed in a special event called Terpsichorian.  Thursday evening she competed one solo- the top 8 soloists in the 8 & under then move on to the 2nd round- which included Payton.  Winners the first round, must do a different style dance in the final round.  She then competed her 2nd solo Friday evening.  There she received 3rd place in the 8 & under solos.

Congrats to the MINI STARS!  They performed in Brandon, SD at the Valentine Classic in February and received 2nd place!
