Are All Dance Studios The Same?

As a parent we realize you have a choice between several different music and dance schools. All studios are not the same. We constantly renovate and improve our facilities and provide ongoing training to our staff to ensure we are always providing our students and parents with the best experience possible.  We do not believe we are the best because we’re the biggest. Instead, we believe we’re the biggest because families think we are the best.  What our parents are saying:

Shantelle attended the Pom class to check it out last night.  I was very impressed with the teacher!  Shantelle has been dancing for almost 5 years and is almost 8.  - CeCe

Madeline is very excited to have a small part to play in their dance.  Both girls are talking about their recital already…I have a hard time explaining to them that May is quite a long time away!  It is wonderful to see them so excited about their classes. - Allison

The recital was fantastic!!!  The rehearsal was 100% improved from the year before.  The rehearsal was a lot smoother by having it on a Saturday vs. Friday.   Great job on both!!!!

The costumes (Tyler - yellow & light blue) turned out to be fantastic.  They were bright (easy to see) & really glittery onstage.  Most moms probably invision their kid in the classic light pink tutu, but it would not be as effective onstage.

Young people who participate in the arts for at least three hours on three days each week through at least one full year are:

DANCE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN

For young children, dance offers avenues for exploration, discovery and the development of natural instincts for movement. Dance activities offer many benefits for children, encouraging mental and emotional development as well as obviously enhancing motor skills.

Dancing gives the young child a chance to experience and understand both personal and social perspectives in a stimulating situation. Dancing offers opportunities to express thoughts and feelings and to understand other's thoughts and feelings.

The dynamic balance of dance's physical, mental and emotional aspects should be present in dance education, regardless of whether the child plans to pursue a career in dance. As in other arts disciplines, professional preparation in dance demands years of rigorous education, training and practice.

Dance education has many benefits:
